Yes, running can help you lose weight!
I’ve been running for years, and at first, it mostly made me feel physically and mentally balanced. I enjoyed each run, but my weight stayed the same.
Then, about a year ago, I changed my routine. I increased my distance from 3.5 miles to 5 miles, and the results finally showed. Over the past year, I’ve lost 10 lbs all while still enjoying my runs.
The biggest lesson? Sometimes small adjustments in distance or consistency make the biggest difference. Running isn’t just good for your heart and mind. It can also help you shed pounds, even after years of running the same routine.
